The miniature book of poems Sonnets by William Shakespeare, artist Anatoly Konenko. Russian micro miniature painter Anatoly Ivanovich Konenko is from the Siberian city of Omsk, was born on 23 February 1954, in Orsk, Orenburg Region. In 1996 he got into Guinness Book of World Records for creating the worlds smallest book, an edition of Chameleon by Anton Chekhov. Konenko began his career in 1981, becoming the first micro miniature artist in Siberia. Since 2007 he has been creating amazing art works together with his son Stanislav. Anatoly Konenko is a member of Union of Designers of Russia, Union of Russian Artists. In 2005 he was nominated for the State Prize in the field of art. His personal permanent exhibition of unique miniatures was opened in Omsk in 2007. The talented Russian artist is World Records Academy recognized since 22.09.2011, and from 2012, he is an expert of Record Book. Among the works of Anatoly Konenko are most famous savvy flea, grasshopper, playing the violin, a caravan of camels in the needle’s eye, and more than 200 miniature books.
