Considered the most beautiful butterfly in the world, its wings on top have a chestnut-brown color, and below – white color. Traditionally, a fantastic action in the mountains of Mexico take place. Every year more than 150,000 tourists from all over the world come to Mexico to see this amazing phenomenon. Each year about 300 million of these beautiful multi-colored butterflies spread their wings go on a long – more than 4,000 km! Interestingly, first this kind of butterfly placed in the genus Papilio. In 1780, Jan Krzysztof Kluk used the monarch as the type species for a new genus, Danaus.
