The author of these amazingly realistic cityscapes – British artist Nathan Walsh. The painter belongs to a new generation of artists who are extending the boundaries of realist painting. His paintings demonstrate an ambitious project of combining photographic source material with the traditional skills of the representational artist. According to the artist himself, he deals exclusively with the urban landscape. Besides, he aims to present a painted world which in some ways resembles the world we live in.
