One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest quotes
Born on September 17, 1935, Ken Kesey is the famous American writer, the author of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and a cultural icon. In fact, he wrote the novel at the age of 27. Subsequently, appeared the movie “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” based on this novel, directed by Milos Forman. Noteworthy, the film of 1975 received five Oscar awards and dozens of other prestigious awards and nominations. Kesey wrote the screenplay for the film, but it was not to Foreman’s taste. So, the authors of the screenplay became Lawrence Hauben & Bo Goldman. After that hurt Ken said that he would never see a screen version of his own novel “in such a distorted way.” Moreover, he even filed a lawsuit against the producer of the movie, but his claim was rejected.
Many years later, Ken was in his own bed, switching TV channels in search of interesting programs. Suddenly, he came across a curious film. Only after a few minutes he had realized what kind of a film it was, and then switched to another channel.
