Vintage cameras by Alexander Knyazev
Born in the Siberian village of Zalari of Irkutsk region in 1947, Alexander Knyazev has become known for his beautiful photo art. The main inspiration for him – is, undoubtedly, vintage camera. Thus appear still lifes with cameras decorated with various elements – from flowers and coins to portraits, and even sea shells.
Knyazev graduated from the journalism department of Irkutsk State University in 1974. Renowned photographer and master of photography, he is three times winner of the exhibition of the International Organization of Journalists “Interpressphoto”, and some other competitions.
Meanwhile, in 1998 he founded his own art gallery “Eye”, which exhibits the works of artists and photographers of Irkutsk. In addition to photography, Alexander Knyazev is interested in art and philosophical literature.
