Beautiful actress Robin Wright became known to most viewers as Kelly Capwell in the legendary series “Santa Barbara” (from 1984 to 1988), then as Jenny, in no less legendary “Forrest Gump” (Golden Globe Award nomination). Robin Wright will be 49 on 8th of April 2015. She was born in Dallas, Texas. Began working as a model being a schoolgirl. Her success was quite real – she was invited to shoot in France and Japan. At the age of 15, Robin met her first love – it turned out to be Charlie Sheen. Apparently, Robin has always had a passion for “bad guys”. After high school, Wright decided to try her hand in the movies. It all started with television. Starring in several small roles, Wright got a permanent job – in the series “Santa Barbara”.

1996 was the year when in the life of Robin began a new stage – she married Sean Penn. They met a few years earlier, during the shooting of the film “State of Grace”. Marriage of Sean and Robin can not be called cloudless, though it started very well. The couple had children, Robin temporarily suspended her career to devote time to the family. But the children have grown up (Penn and Wright’s daughter Dylan and son Hopper), and since the mid-2000s there were rumors of a rift in the Star Alliance. In 2007, Penn and Wright made their first attempt to get a divorce. Then withdrew the divorce papers. They got a divorce from the third attempt.

The film “State of Grace” was not the only, and certainly not the brightest teamwork of Sean Penn and Robin Wright. In 1997, was released drama “She’s So Lovely” in which the heroine of Robin painfully tries to make a choice between two men – the present and former husbands. The film participated in the competition of Cannes Film Festival and won the Technical Grand Prix award, for Best Actor the award went to Sean. Robin also was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award.

After her divorce from Penn Wright began acting much more. One of her most successful recent works remains a popular political TV series “House of Cards”. For it, Robin Wright was nominated for an Emmy and won the first in her career “Golden Globe”. In 2014 she was also nominated Best Actress for TV Series Drama by Satellite Awards and won.

Robin played in the film by Anton Corbijn “A Most Wanted Man”, premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, the 36th Moscow International Film Festival, and the 40th Deauville American Film Festival. The actress also acted in the film “Everest”, the premiere is scheduled for 2015.

Now the former spouses have already established a life apart. Sean meets with Charlize Theron (who is a lot like his ex-wife), and Robin was going to marry Ben Foster, who is 14 years younger than her. Wright began dating actor Ben Foster in 2012, their engagement was announced in January 2014. But the couple have split and they called off their engagement on November 12, 2014. Robin Wright realized “it wasn’t the right decision”.

American model and actress Dylan Penn, the daughter of Robin Wright took much after her mother. She was born Dylan Frances Penn on April 13, 1991. The only daughter and elder child of Sean Penn and Robin Wright gained public exposure when she dated Robert Pattinson in 2013.
