Beautiful snowboarder Silje Norendal
Undoubtedly, the most beautiful female athlete at Winter Olympics in Sochi will be blue-eyed blonde Silje Norendal. Born 1 September 1993, a Norwegian snowboarder Silje Norendal competes in halfpipe, slope-style and boardecross. Her local club is Kongsberg IF. Silje Norendal won gold in women’s slopestyle in Winter X Games Europe in Tignes in 2013. In January 2014, she won women’s slopestyle in Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado. She was chosen to compete in slopestyle during the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.
The young Norwegian athlete and just a beauty represents a new generation of Norwegian snowboarders of different style – cool and confident approach. Despite the fact that Norendal claims she does not like rails, she superbly acted on them in Tignes, France and brought the gold medal for her country.
Due to her stunning beauty, fans often call her “Norwegian Barbie”. Born in small town of Kongsberg, the girl received the first snowboard at the age of 4! As a child, she also trained other sports, which, however, failed to surpass her passion for snowboarding.
