Beauty of Iceland by photographer Marina Lunkina
A young Russian photographer, born in Moscow, Marina Lunkina is working in the genre of landscape photography. Marina’s passion for travel and interest in photography create a wonderful symbiosis in her works. Lunkina captures the beauty of nature, and gives us the opportunity to visit the most interesting parts of our planet. Besides, Marina has recently joined the program to draw attention to the preservation of the environment. She has traveled around the Golden Ring of Iceland (Golden Circle), and now introduces us to the waterfalls, geysers, volcanic valleys and asleep volcanoes. Meanwhile, driving alone in ‘Thing Fields’ national park, she has found cosmic landscapes. Fortunately, her best company was her camera, and, according to her, she felt like a director making a science fiction movie.
Noteworthy, water in rivers can reach a temperature of 80-100 degrees Celsius. This causes the appearance of geysers rising to 20-30 meters every 2 minutes.
