Russian 47-year-old wildlife photographer Sergei Krasnoshchekov is from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, Kamchatka region of the Russian Far East. The main inspirations for the photographer are wildlife, landscape and traveling. And in this series of pictures he captured the moments of bear cubs enjoying fishing lessons in the Kuril Lake. In fact, in autumn the lake traditionally becomes world’s largest salmon spawning pool. That’s why the bear families arrive here. However, alongside with bears, the bravest enthusiasts – photographers come here too. One of these lucky photographers, who managed to capture unique moments of the cubs perfecting their fishing skills has become Sergei Krasnoshchekov. Meanwhile, Kamchatka with its beautiful and untouched nature is an ideal habitat for the bears. Thus, in peace and quietness, away from people’s eyes they feel themselves the real owners of the land, walking the woods and hunting for salmon in the rivers and lakes. By the way, in Russian language each animal is “he” or “she”, not “it”, no matter a fly, a bee, or a bear.
