According to Daily Mail, American naturalist Casey Anderson adopted grizzly bear called Brutus (born in January 2002). Noteworthy, their friendship lasts for more than 10 years! The pair are inseparable and even when Anderson married actress Missi Pyle, the bear stood in as best man. Indeed, Brutus is never alone and even joins in the Anderson family thanksgiving activities. Casey Anderson is the trainer and best friend of Brutus. Besides, he is the co-owner and director of the Montana Grizzly Encounter, a grizzly bear sanctuary in Bozeman, Montana.

Naturalist Casey Anderson was born on 20 August 1975 in East Helena, Montana. He is the author of “The Story of Brutus: My life with Brutus the Bear and Grizzlies of North America”. He is the recipient of the 2010 Panda Award for Best Presenter-Led Program for Expedition Grizzly at the Wildscreen Festival in Bristol, UK.

Brutus was born in January 2002, their friendship began ten years ago, when Anderson met Brutus in a wildlife park.

By nature, grizzly bears are intelligent and inquisitive creatures and usually have no interest in harming humans. Grizzlies mostly consume vegetarian food such as berries and roots, but will eat what other animals have killed.
