Egyptian in origin, Hallah Abdel Fattah was born and raised in Russia. Her parents – dancer and filmmaker, saw their future here, in the great and strong (then) Soviet Union, and therefore decided to settle in Moscow. The tomb of French journalist Victor Noir (1848-1870) in the Pere Lachaise Cemetery in Paris has become a symbol of fertility. Victor Noir was handsome and loved by women, but killed at a a duel at the age of 22. The realistic bronze statue by sculptor Jules Dalou has become the most popular memorial for women to visit the famous cemetery. The authorities tried to erect a fence around the statue of Noir in 2004, but thanks to the female protests, the fence was removed.
