Kiev based artist and jewellery designer Taras Shalashniy has created a gallery of beautiful jewellery decorations inspired by Abstract art and, in particular, Wassily Kandinsky and Vincent Van Gogh. The talented artist-jeweler was born in 1965 in the Latvian town of Skrunda, the USSR. He graduated from the University and has a degree in higher technical education. However, Taras Shalashniy has chosen the artistic path. And now, he is an Art Director of “Taras Shalashniy Creative Studio”. In his work the master uses precious metals and stones – gold, silver, diamonds, Topaz, citrine, tourmaline, Beryl, etc. He exhibited his art works at exhibitions of different levels. As a result, Shalashniy is the winner of Jeweler Expo Ukraine, exhibitions of Luxury in Russia and Ukraine. In addition to jewellery art, he works in painting, lacquer miniature, etc.
