Katarina Stefanovich is a talented photographer from Belgrade, Serbia. “My work is maybe more similar to ‘photo-painting’ than photography”, she says. According to her, she had a goal to use photography as ‘prima materia’, a base, and through editing create a fusion of reality and vision. “I am not a photo reporter, so I don’t feel obligated to honor every detail”. What she is trying to achieve – to emphasize the whole potential of a shot, creating a sight that she’d like if existed. And since it’s impossible in real life, she does it in virtual. Her work is maybe more similar to ‘photo-painting’ than photography”. In fact, Katarina’s photography art is the anthem to beautiful nature, her pictures speak for themselves.
