The Beatles Story Museum in Liverpool
The Beatles Story is a Museum in Liverpool, England, devoted to the history of the legendary band The Beatles. The Beatles Story Museum is housed in the basement of the Albert Dock in Liverpool, the port of historic buildings. At the entrance to the museum, visitors can get an audio guide, narrated by John Lennon’s sister Juliain, in eight languages, including Russian. Going from room to room, visitors watch the birth and history of the Beatles heyday. Each room is dedicated to one of the periods of The Beatles history and its members. The museum contains unique exhibits: concert costumes, instruments, John Lennon’s round spectacles, George Harrison’s first guitar, photographs, lyrics, records, paintings, witnesses’ memories and archival video. A special stand dedicated to gifts sent by Russian fans. At the exit of the museum is a gift shop with the symbols of the legendary band. Te exhibition offers a journey into the music of the Beatles with 3D animation and 4D special effects.
Unfortunately, since the formation and flourishing of the Beatles many historical sites associated with this group were lost. This also applies to Club Cavern. Here in the museum they recreated the street on which the club was dark and damp, even with the rat.
In the hall dedicated to the record Lonely Hearts Club of Sergeant Pepper there are many psychedelic pieces – distorting mirror, bright colors of the floor and walls, etc.
At the exit you get to the store where you can buy a lot of interesting things from the magnets with a picture of houses where they were born, each of the four, to caps, jackets, all, of course, with the symbols of the legendary band.
