Christmas tree with seven thousand paper cranes
Known as the world tree of hope, Christmas tree with seven thousand paper cranes decorates San Francisco. Every winter, in December, hundreds of paper cranes flock to San Francisco to decorate the tree in the world encouraging LGBT community. The project, organized by the Rainbow World Fund (RWF), which started 5 years ago, merged two traditions – western and eastern, as cranes build their nests on the Christmas tree. Origami has not only a decorative function – each of them is written wishes. Paper birds for the Christmas tree are signed by celebrities.
