Glowing Umbrella installation by Anna Meister
Talented designer and artist Anna Meister is the author of these light installations created at 2012 festival Vivid Sydney. To the strung together Umbrellas added light to create a sparkling igloo. As a result, the dome-shaped structure glows in the night Sydney, welcoming the numerous tourists and locals. As for the author of this installation, Australian freelance creative director and art designer Anna Meister is also a sessional lecturer at Billy Blue design college. Prior to this, Anna worked as Creative Director at Zspace, Sydney, and Concept Designer, Senior Designer, then Creative Director at Emerald City Design, Sydney from 2005-2009.

In addition, Anna Meister spent 3 years in London studying theater design at Central St Martins, selection for the Linbury Prize for Theatre Design. Besides, she has 3 years of Paris experience working in fashion, graphic design and styling. Also, she studied sculpture, performance, installation and English literature at Sydney University.
