born on February 19, 1977 in a Siberian town Novoaltaysk, Russian artist Denis Oktyabr was interested in art since childhood. In 1992, he graduated from Novoaltaisk art school, and later from the State College of Art. Denis works in the genre of portraiture, still life, landscape, thematic composition, and nude. The artist is experimenting with shape, color, and material. Noteworthy, on the 2nd International Biennial of Graphic “BIN-2004” in St. Petersburg he received the first prize. His works are in the State Art Museums of Siberia, and private collections in Russia and abroad. Siberian born artist Denis Oktyabr has participated in over 50 exhibitions since 1995. He is a member of the Russian Union of Artists since 2001.
