Born on April 19, 1987 in Lipetsk, Russian sprint athlete Kseniya Vdovina is a silver medalist at the 2010 World Cup, two-time champion of Europe (2009, 2011). Vdovina (after marriage – Ryzhova) is an Honored Master of Sports of Russia. According to Kseniya, in childhood she played volleyball, enjoyed swimming, and dancing. Meanwhile, since the age of 13, she has had experience in athletics. Initially specialized in the triple jump, and even won the junior championship of Russia among 14-year-olds, she later chose running. Her coaches – Tatiana Mysik, Gennady Kolesnikov, Anatoly and Tatiana Litvinov, and Valentin Maslakov. She represents the Lipetsk region and Sports Society “Dinamo”.
Since 2009 Kseniya has been performing at senior level. At the 2010 Winter Championship of Russia, she was ranked 4th in the 400 m. At the World Cup 2010 in Qatar Kseniya Vdovina won a silver medal in the 4×400 meters relay. Kseniya has a college degree, she graduated from the law department of the Voronezh Institute of Ministry of Internal Affairs. In 2012 Vdovina participated in the TV show “Dancing with the Stars” on TV Russia-1 and RTR-Planeta.
