Konstantin Mironov’s astrophotography
Talented photographer and an amateur astronomer Konstantin Mironov is from Yekaterinburg, Russia. He is the author of these impressive photographs, as his main passion is Astrophotography. He explains that Astrophotography is the art of a weak signal. Finding ways to register the extremely faint celestial objects, he separates them from the noise and shows the beautiful and attractive colors of star clusters. Not only the celestial objects, with rare exceptions have very low surface brightness, it is also the rotating sky. To do a long exposure is also a private engineering task. Thus, for astrophotography telescope (but not for solar, Lunar and planetary) should be: maximum diameter, maximum intensity, mechanically perfect and stable as possible.
The most famous and beautiful open star cluster M45, the Pleiades. It shipped in blue reflective Nebula complex structure. “Master” the Kourovka telescope Observatory, D = 400 mm, F = 1000mm. Apogee Alta U16M matrix, blue filter.
