Our Martian future by Kahn-Selesnick – the series of photographs, installations, and sculptures of strange, silvery future of human life on Mars. A talented duo – Richard Selesnick and Nicholas Kahn, known as Kahn/Selesnick have been cooperating since 1988 on a series of complex narrative photo-novellas and sculptural installations. Meanwhile, born in 1964 in New York City Richard Selesnick and born in 1964 in London Nicholas Kahn, both are British citizens. In addition to photographs, Kahn and Selesnick also work on sculptures and installations. They create works that might exist on this future Mars, whether as natural or human-made structures. Photographers and conceptual artists, Kahn and Selesnick work at the visual intersection of who-knows, what-might-be, you-must-be-kidding, and well-why-not.
